Verification Terms
What the Bikepick Verified three-point check covers, and what it does not.

What verification is
"Bikepick Verified" is a limited, three-point check on a used-bike listing:
- **Documents** — RC book and key documents are checked for internal consistency and match with the listed vehicle
- **Ownership** — the seller's claim of ownership is checked against the documents provided
- **Condition** — a basic physical or photo-based condition check of the listed vehicle
What verification is not
- It is not a full mechanical inspection, crash test, or certification by any authority
- It does not guarantee that the vehicle is free from defects, prior accidents, or odometer tampering beyond what is evident
- It does not confirm the market value of the vehicle
- It is performed at a point in time and does not cover changes after verification
How it is applied
- Verification is initiated for listings that opt in (or where we proactively check) and is completed by authorised staff or a verified partner
- The badge is shown only after our team has approved the check; we do not auto-badge listings
- Sellers must provide genuine documents. Providing false documents is fraud and may lead to removal and reporting
- Proof documents are stored in a private bucket and are visible only to the owner and authorised staff
If you rely on it
Verification is one input. You should still complete your own due diligence: physical inspection, document verification, and, where appropriate, a professional inspection.
